Which is worse?

You came to work to make and serve food when your nose was runny? Correct me if I'm wrong, but that is really pretty disgusting, don't you think? Would having a union in your store really be worse than having a viral infection vector hacking and wheezing on the food?

I'm not convinced by either the hard-core union folks or the union busters (though if I was forced to choose, I'd probably go with the former) but if having a union would permit people to take sick days without any risk to their livelihood, I'm all in favor of that! Especially in food service jobs!

P.S. I'm just getting over a severe cold which I caught from my boss. He came in to work while he was sick because he's too "macho" to take time off, and he scheduled extra meetings with me just to prove that having a cold doesn't slow him down. As a result, I'm pretty emotional about this particular issue right now.
