Totalitarianism isnt freedom, there can be no socialism without freedom.

I really dont know why some socialists think there is a socialist way of doing everything and try to make every aspect of life a socialist matter, would you appreciate it if capitalists interfered with family life etc. demanding that this or that is the correct and only way of doing things?

What is the aim of socialism at the end of the day? To improve peoples lives, right? To do this by abolishing elitism etc. right?

Now I know that some people like to hanker after unconditional support and definitive programs etc. but if you go a married working people and say that your going to make their marriage null or go to parents and tell them that they have no right to parent their children they arent going to thank you.

In the end you'll have to impose it and then it isnt freedom. Leave that whole sphere out of the argument.
