How can anyone defend capitalism in light of the present global catastrophe? A tiny minority of the worlds population are reaping the rewards while the majority are suffering. There's no need to talk of the ideology or even get out the figures, just look at the fact of what is being made of the world - a disaster area.
Why should most of the world live like peasants, it's not the dark ages.
