: : don't impose your view of the world and how things should be on the rest of us who enjoy that the drive for efficiency and reduce the average costs of quality goods to a price where those who do not enjoy the time and disposable income to build our own.

: Have you been reading? This section is entitled "Capitalism and Alternatives". We have the right to debate about the alternatives and capitalism. If you're offended by people practicing free speech then try not to project any fantastical ideas of persecution onto yourself and point fingers at other folks who see things in a different light.

Yes, it's an interesting phenomenon. Apologists for capitalism are
a bit sensitive, and easily threatened. Kevin's posts may be shrill,
but he uses language common to most of the status quo defenders. People who consider alternatives to the private profit system are
"imposing" their view on others. Socialists, anarchists, etc. are
not in touch with "reality", unlike the hardboiled right-wingers.
Those of us who don't want to center our lives around climbing the
corporate ladder are "cynical". And of course, we constantly reiterate
the point that companies are "evil". That word is hardly ever used by opponents of capitalism--it's mostly in the responses of conservatives trying their best to sound sarcastic.

All of this is to be expected when you have to jump through complex
hoops of rationalization to form your arguments. Opponents of Cash
Money Supremacy only have to use common sense.
